US Government says PressTV and RussiaToday are the Enemy...

“We can’t allow ourselves to be out-communicated by our enemies,” said Walter Isaacson,
chairman of the Broadcasting Board of Governors.
“You’ve got Russia Today, Iran’s Press TV, Venezuela’s TeleSUR,
and of course, China is launching an international broadcasting 24-hour news channel with correspondents around the world".

Press TV Taken Off Air In UK
In case you are not yet aware, OfCom, Britain’s Office of Communications,
decided to take [ Iran's ] Press TV off air in the UK this week.
The significance of this move by the state regulator should not be underestimated.
The battle for free speech is definitely on.
So of course the western govermments see them as the enemy... they talk truth to power.
